FFD Elects Officers for 2021
Sunday, December 27th, 2020

Recently FFD held its Annual Meeting to elect officers for the 2021 term. This is the fifth year where FFD officers had to meet minimum requirements to hold their post and Firefighter 1 Pro Board Certification along with completion of the NIMS series. This provides that the department is going to led by firefighters who worked diligently to expand their base of training and earn the opportunity to hold an officer position. Also as is FFD tradition no officer holds more than one office and cannot be elected for both an administrative and chief/line position. This is a testament to the membership exhibiting the dedication to the department and the realization of the need to maintain the separation of duties.

This year also marks the thirteenth year of this group of Chief Officers.

Chief Joseph J. Stepansky (who is beginning the first year of his two year term), Deputy Chief Richard Lindsey, Assistant Chief Wilson Malloy, will be holding their respective offices which establishes a continuity of leadership. President Larry Stepansky is also entering his thirteenth year as the administrative head of the department.

The Officers for 2021 are as follows:

Department Administrative Officers:

President : Larry Stepansky, Sr.

Vice President : William Youmans

Secretary : Ashley Herring

Treasurer : Sandra Kuklis

Chief/Line Officers:

Chief Joseph J. Stepansky

Deputy Chief Richard Lindsey'

Assistant Chief Wilson Malloy

Captain Nick Heffelfinger

Lieutenant James Darvell

Relief Association Officers:

President Larry Stepansky

Vice President William Kuklis

Secretary Barbara Tulanowski

Treasurer Cal Herring

Trustees:

William Youmans

Greg Harkins

Audrey Stepansky

Appointed officers will be announced at the January 2021 meeting.
