It is becoming a Northside tradition - the biannual FFD Chicken Bar B Que. The Freeland Public Park air was filled with the smell of charcoal and burning wood which was used to prepare the chicken, baked potato, and corn on the cob.

In our rotation of annual training programs, FFD conducted a PA Local Level Training Program for Aerial Operations. The course was sponsored by the Suburban Mutual Fire Aid Association. 17 FFD firefighters along with firefighters from White Haven Fire Co.
All the Officers and Members of the Freeland Fire Department extends their condolences to the family of Aaron Leshko who recently passed away. Aaron was an example of perseverance and exhibited courage throughout all of his challenges.
