136 Station was dispatched for a possible structure fire in the area of Carbon and Adams Street. Upon arrival it was determined to be an open burn in Foster Twp and Foster Twp Fire Department were notified.
136 Engine and 136 Truck were dispatched to an automatic fire alarm at the Freeland Elderly Apartments in the 200 block of Centre Street. Upon arrival it was determined to be a cooking incident and no fire.

136 Engine and 136 Truck responded to an automatic fire alarm at a residence in the 300 block of Adams Street. Upon arrival it was determined to be a cooking incident and no fire.
During the midday yesterday FFD was dispatched to an AFA at the Elderly Apartment Complex in the 200 block of Centre St. Chief Joseph J. Stepansky was in proximity and arrived quickly to locate a stove top fire with extension to wall space and cabinetry.
Four EMS lift assists were completed from 3/28/21 to 3/29/21. at the Freeland Elderly Apartments in the 500 block of Centre Street.
136 Rescue, 136 Truck and 136 Engine responded to a report of a structure fire in the 700 block of Birkbeck Street. Upon arrival it was determined to be a fire in a clothes washer motor. The unit was removed from the residence and there was no fire extension.
136 Rescue responded to assist EMS with a lift assist at the Elderly Apartments in the 500 block of Centre Street.
136 Truck and 136 Rescue responded to an automatic alarm at the Elderly Apartments in the 500 block of Centre Street. Upon arrival it was determined to be a cooking incident and no fire.
136 Rescue and 136 Truck responded to a report of a natural gas leak in a residence in the 600 block of Cedar Street. UGI and the FMA sewer authority were also dispatched. It was determined that there was no natural gas in the area and the problem was in a sewer line before the main line.
